Non-nationals who are NOT fully vaccinated will not be allowed entry to Trinidad and Tobago at this time.
All persons entering Trinidad and Tobago MUST have a TTravel Pass, which should be obtained via this online gateway. Travellers who successfully complete the application process will be automatically granted a TTravel Pass. The TTravel Pass can be printed or saved on a mobile device for use to board the flight and to gain entry into Trinidad and Tobago.
At this time, Unvaccinated/Partially vaccinated nationals MUST enter the country through the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad only.
NB The possession of a TTravel Pass does NOT guarantee access to board the flight nor to enter Trinidad and Tobago. All travellers will still be subjected to the validation processes of both the relevant airline and the Border Control Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago.
Travellers may begin the application process 72 hours before arrival in Trinidad and Tobago.
Applicants are advised to use the Chrome Browser to access the Gateway.
All travellers are required to submit a negative NASOPHARYNGEAL (nasal swab) RT-PCR test result. This test should have been taken no earlier than seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival in Trinidad and Tobago.
Individuals are only considered to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 if 14 days have passed since they received the full dosage of a World Health Organisation approved vaccine, i.e. 14 days after they have received of a second dose in a 2-dose series or 14 days after they have received a single-dose vaccine.
For 2-dose series COVID-19 vaccines, passengers must have received 2 doses of the same vaccine OR the first dose of the AstraZeneca / Covishield vaccine followed by the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Passengers with any other combination of vaccines would NOT be considered fully vaccinated, at this time.
Travellers who are NOT fully vaccinated, will be required to enter into a mandatory 14 day quarantine and PCR retesting, at an approved state supervised quarantine hotel, at their expense. Before beginning the application process, travellers MUST have proof of confirmed accommodation at one of these facilities. The list of approved state supervised quarantine hotels is available here.
Travellers to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago are required to obtain a TTravel Pass prior to arrival
All travellers, including children, must complete or have completed an individual application to obtain a TTravel Pass for presentation to the relevant airline and the Border Control Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago.
Travellers must complete the entire application process and receive their TTravel Pass before the check in time for the relevant flight.
Travellers will NOT be allowed to board the flight without a TTravel Pass and proof of a negative PCR test taken no earlier than seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival in Trinidad and Tobago.
The receipt of a TTravel Pass does not guarantee access to the flight nor entry into Trinidad and Tobago. All travellers are still subject to the validation processes of the airlines and Border Control Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago.
